Happy Holidays Friends

Well, here I am and I have not written on my blog for a long time again. Well, here is what is new with Chaulle:

  1. I have my invitations almost complete (btw I am getting married:)
  2. I have my reception and open house pretty much planned.
  3. I am going home to Washington for Christmas on December 22nd.
  4. I am getting ready to really set my craft talents going as to take what I've made and actually selling the stuff. This is a combination of my photography/woodworking/card-making activities that I have been told I am good at. I'm considering E-Bay, Craigslist, or perhaps even advertising through BlogSpot (after all, I did find my wedding dress through an add on BlogSpot).
  5. I am getting going on the AVON selling venture for the second time and I am praying that with added motivation I can make some money down here in Utah. Time will tell.
Well, dear friends, I love ya and hope that your holiday season is poured over with hope, gratitude, and optimism (though these are not exactly the best of times due to the economy). I know I could improve on looking at my life and be grateful to have air in my lungs, a regular heartbeat, and most of all, apply my knowledge that a little baby was born in a far away land, and His life is the reason why we celebrate Christmas, and that we should be as decent, kind, honorable, forgiving (of ourselves too), and that we should see this life as a time to seek Him everyday.

May we everyday see His hands, heart, and love manifesting itself through the common everyday things. May we see all that love can be because of Jesus and his constant concern for our ultimate happiness. I testify that we can do these things with a constant and earnest effort to be the best we can be, with His help. I say these things in Jesus' name, amen.

Back in my part of the world, kinda....

Well, here I am back in Utah! My fiance & his parents came to Washington to meet my folks and family, and I am pleased to announce that this special meeting turned out to be loads of fun, with my soon-to-be in-laws making friends with my parents!
I tended to my cake details, my veil, my engagement photo was taken (it is soooo cute!) and I got to take home some additional items for my future home with my future husband, Andrew.
Andy and I found bottles in the ground outside of my parents' house (which is almost to the 100 year old mark!), and some of them are really cool! One generation's junk is another one's treasure, let me tell you!
All in all, it was an amazing weekend, but I am glad to be home in Utah with my man, and I hope you all had as nice a Thanksgiving as I did!!!

Always late but worth the wait

Okay, one and all, I take full responsibility for my lack of responsibility in keeping my blog updated (is that proper grammar?). Here is what is new with Chaulle:
  • I am engaged to Andrew Italasano and will be sealed to him in the Spokane Washington Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Saturday, January 31, 2009.
  • I will be holding an open house for the friends and some family that I have in Utah in Bountiful the following week.
  • My fiance met my family last month, and he and his parents are coming to Washington for Thanksgiving with my family.
  • I have purchased the most gorgeous dress in the entire world!
  • I am extremely blessed to have found such an amazing man to have for a husband.

Welcome!

Hello! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Chaulle Nicole Harris, I am a 27-year-old native of Washington state, but am currently living in Bountiful, Utah. I have a Bachelor's degree in Women's and Gender Studies with a minor in Psychology from Eastern Washington University, and am currently seeking employment down here. I am the youngest child of Ronal and Cyrie Harris, with an older brother, Lynden (29), and sister, Rachael (31). My sister is married to Steve Whitehill, and has four children (from oldest to youngest): niece C'ne Lee, nephew Isaiah Nicholas, neice Kai Michael, and nephew Koa Jace. I am in love with Andrew Italasano, but he is another blog in himself! I was born into (and am currently) an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, (or Mormon Church). I have an avid interest/hobby in photography, along with many interests in crafts.

Whether you know me personally or just through the web, this site will show what is new in my life, thoughts that dot my mind from time to time, how I have been spending my time, and what photos, crafts, projects, plans, events, and updates are going on in my life.

No matter what your reason is for visiting this site, I extend an open arm of communication, opinion, commentary and friendship to you!
